Trusting Hands Disability Services can help you by making things easy so you can continue to live independently at your home while doing more of the things you love.

We aim to ensure your home is cared for just the way you’d like it.  Whether it’s changing your bedsheets, mopping the floor, or walking your dog, our friendly staff will help you get the chores done around your home so you can enjoy a clean and tidy house and feel comfortable in your home. The tasks that you get help with are but not limited to the following:

• Vacuuming
• Cleaning the bathroom
• Washing the dishes
• Doing the laundry
• Dusting
• Changing bed linens
• Personal care
• Assistance with meal preparation

Regular or occasional assistance with household duties will ensure your home is safe and well-maintained, and also give you more time to spend on activities you enjoy.  Our team is highly experienced in mobility and accessibility and we will tailor services to best suit what you want, whilst bringing in new ideas to continually improve your environment. Furthermore, we will continuously be conducting risks assessment to ensure that you are safe in your home.

Through our home and community care services, Trusting Hands Disability Services can assist with the tasks and routines that come about each day. This allows you to live your best life, on your own terms. Daily living assistance includes assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, medication assistance, financial management, communication skills, and lifestyle mentoring.

Trusting Hands Disability Services can assist with and supervise your NDIS high-intensity daily personal activities like diabetes and feeding.

Assisting with and/or supervising personal tasks of daily life to enable the participant to live as autonomously as possible. These supports are provided by a worker with additional qualifications and experience relevant to the participants’ complex needs. These individual supports can be provided in a range of environments, including but not limited to, the participant’s own home.

We help you get a fresh start to each day with personal care, hygiene, and grooming. At Trusting Hands Disability Services, we understand the importance of staying active and healthy. Our range of daily care support services is designed to address your regular healthcare. We also ensure that you stay on track with your medical appointments and exercise routine.

Our daily care support services for active independent living include

• Hygiene and personal care
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Menu planning and meal preparation
• Assistance with eating
• Medication management and reminders
• Home management and care including laundry
• Support for the coordination of maintenance, e.g., cleaning and repairs
• Support and supervision for getting dressed
• Support for maintaining the consistency and structure of everyday personal activities

With Trusting Hands Disability Services, getting to wherever you need is no longer a challenge. We understand that easy mobility enhances your sense of independence and control over your life. Whether you need to travel for medical appointments, or professional or social events, our travel and transport assistance services will help you reach safely and in time.

Trusting Hands Disability Services community nurses are caring professionals who are highly skilled, culturally sensitive, and ready to help. Our community nursing care services exist to meet your clinical and personal needs so that you can lead an independent and healthy lifestyle. Our community nursing care services can be provided in your home or at Trusting Hands Disability Services by a qualified nurse and you can access these services on a regular or occasional basis. Trusting Hands Disability Services has been approved to provide community nursing care to perform complex bowel care, Subcutaneous injection, PEG & NG Tube feeding, and Medication management. A registered nurse will assess your clinical need for nursing and/or personal care services. A registered nurse will then determine in consultation with you the type and frequency of nursing and personal care services you need.

Trusting Hands Disability Services offers life skills development services for capacity building of people living with disabilities and the elderly. This disability care service empowers you to live your lives independently, conduct your daily activities, and learn skills for life. Our capacity-building services can be tailored to suit your priorities and needs.

We aim to support our clients to live life to the fullest and enjoy each day.

Our life skills development services are delivered by trained professionals and include:

• Assistance with independent living
• Education and training in personal safety
• Guidance on nutrition for healthy living
• Assistance and teaching knowledge for using information technology

Guidance on budgeting and money handling

At Trusting Hands Disability Services, we offer innovative community participation services designed to support people living with disabilities in building skills that allow them to participate actively in their community, events, and programs. This program aims to enable you to build your capacity and resilience. Thereby, you can eventually move away from the service to informal community support and/or a job.

Our participation in the community program includes shopping, medical appointments, sporting, and recreational events, social activities, visiting or making new friends, travel, and transport, and building confidence and social skills.
